101s Tip
Do you own a 101s tip? If not, you need one…or five. A #101s tip is an itsy bitsy, teeny tiny petal tip.
I use it to make tiny modified ribbon roses.
Now, when I make larger roses I always make smaller ones to match.
It’s quite addictive, almost relaxing.
I love having these around because they make perfect accents for cookies like these and are also a great way to use up royal icing.
If you need a bit of help making ribbon roses, I have a helpful post HERE. There are other techniques for making royal icing roses which you can check out by clicking on the links below:

I don’t have one, but I’ve barely ventured into the word of 3D accents. Even your simple ribbon roses turn to unrecognizable mush in my hands. 😉
Just like Nicole, I haven’t ventured into these accents yet. It’s on the list, of course! 🙂
I think I have 6 of them! LOL Hi, my name is Lisa and I am addicted to buying piping tips!
Now if I could find the time to make the roses the world would be perfect! LOL

Love these! Question- did you airbrush or dust the roses with lustre or pearl dust? The look shimmery!
Thanks for sharing these!
They’re airbrushed, Erin..
Wow, these are gorgeous! I could try making these for my wedding cake 🙂
So cute and beautiful! But how do you make them?
There’s a link to the ribbon roses at the very end of the post. I’ll post the rouched icing soon
Gorgeous!
Gorgeous cookies!
Hi everyone!
Please help! I am making cookies with royal icing and coating them with disco dust. I need to put “Mr.” on some cookies and “Mrs.” on the rest of the cookies. Has anyone tried to pipe royal icing on top of disco dust? Does it stick? Or are there any other better ideas? I thought about cutting out fondant letters and “glueing” them on, but I can’t find nice mini alphabet cookie cutters.
Thank you so much for your help!
I love your videos and tutorials!

Hi,
Is it luster dust you used to make your royal icing roses look like these? I’m making vintage tea party themed cupcakes this weekend and i am planning to make tony royl icing flowers as toppers. Hope to hear from you dear. Thanks!:)
