Happy Valentine’s Day, Share Your Cookie Creations!
Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone! Things stay pretty much the same around here most of the time. I make cookies, I show them to you, I talk about them, and then I talk about them some more.
Well, today I decided to change things up. I’m going to show you my Valentine’s Day cookies, but instead of talking about them, I want to see yours!
Here’s what I have been working on.
I think the little bird cages are my favorite.
Now y’all see why I needed all those RIBBON ROSES!
Now it’s your turn. You don’t have to have a blog to share. Links from your Facebook page and Flickr work too. So show me your pretty cookies! I can’t wait to see what you’ve been working on!
Happy Valentines
I die at the cuteness. How long did those take to make!??
These cookies are like the most amazing ever. Crazy adorable 🙂
The lovebirds in the birdcage are the cutest!!! HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY, Callye!

Please, sorry for my bad technique. These are my first decorated cookies and I think tips are not still my friends, but I liked the idea and wanted to share it, just in case someone like it and want to use it some time. 🙂
Thank you for all you share here, I promise to read more and practice more and improve my “cookie skills” 😉

Awesome blog hop here! Your cookies are so creative, definitely different from a lot of the heart ones I am seeing. These are very professional looking and pleasing to the eye. I am sure they taste as good as they look-yum! Enjoy the day!
Love your cookies, hon! Always such an inspiration.

Your cookies are adorable and amazing as usual. The Bird Cages are my favorite! We linked up Puppy S’more Pops. That is some what a cookie…right?? 🙂
If it looks like a cookie and acts like a cookie, well, then, it must be a cookie!!
Your cookies are so great! I’ve not baked cookies for Valentine’s Day. I made heart shaped eggs! 😉 http://www.ifeelcook.es/post/17598686710/te-quiero-un-huevo (You don’t have to share these eggs with the rest of lovely cookies of course but maybe you want to have a quick look at them ;P).
xoxo

Great idea Callye! Enjoyed the virtual Valentine’s Day swap, and found some new pages to ‘like’!
Your blog inspired me to make cookies 🙂 I bought a lot of decorating stuff and I’m ready. I just made a LOT of cookies from your sugar cookie recipe to practice on. They taste really good 😉 This sunday I will decorate. Hope they will be as pretty as yours.

What cutter did you use for your birds?
Your blog has made me less afraid of cookie decorating 😉 So thank you.

Your Valentine cookies are SO amazing! Absolutely adorable! Fantastic job Callye!
I absolutely love these cookies!! Thank you for posting such creative creations, I adore your blog and love trying to create them myself.
Can you please post a follow up post with all the details on how you made these. What Americolor red do you use to get the red heart? Did you do the writing/swirls with at PME #1.5 tip? How about the bird cage lines? I am in love with these cookies – such a cute design concept!!!
I made a whole bunch of different cookies for Valentine’s. But my favorites were the Robots made with a rubber stamp and colored with edible markers and the Dinosaur cookies holding hearts. You can see them here: http://foodfascinations.blogspot.com/2012/02/valentines-day-cookies.html

I love making sugar cookies for the different occassions that come up with the kids. I just got finished with valentines of course for their class at school. Working on making basketball cookies with their jersey #s on each cookie. My kids are my motivation for making sugar cookies. I do it for them. 🙂
Gah, so cute! Where did you find cookie cutters for the swallow and bird cage?
Quick question. I know you pre-make you ribbon roses, but do you pre-make the leaves as well? How do you get them so perfectly uniform??
Your cookies are amazing as always!! You are so inspirational!!
Oh my! I absolutely adore these, I think they could be my favourite iced cookie in the world, ever! I’ve just discovered your blog this morning and it’s sheer beauty and I adore your blog design – fclean, fun, cute, playful, easy to use. Simply gorgeous xxx
Hi! I hope I’m not too late to show you the cookies I made for Valentine’s day, of course getting the inspiration from your wonderful blog!! Mine aren’t as cute as yours, nor as anyone else’s, but I’m trying and trying and trying again till I reach, one fine day, your perfection! Here’s my attempt http://blog.giallozafferano.it/bakemedo/valentines-cookies/ they doesn’t look as good as they tasted!
Hello,
Just wondering what tip to use to make the little green leaf?
Thanks!
I love that you used a bell cutter for the birdcage! Ingenious!! Love the little birds.
I had to make these cookies because they are just so darn cute! My friend’s bridal shower was coming up and it tied really well into the theme/color scheme. Thank you for the creative idea – you are super talented and I enjoy your posts. 🙂

Where can I buy cutters for cookies that hang on coffee mugs? Thank you, Delia.
I would suggest using regular cutters then trimming out a small slot with a knife. I have seen them at world market, though.
