The Sweet Sugarbelle Shape Shifter Cookie Decorating Set
If you’ve been following along lately, you have probably noticed I’ve been talking a lot about my new line of cookie decorating products. Today, I want to take a look at my one of my favorite items, the new Shape Shifter Set, a boxed cookie cutter kit that allows you to create forty unique cookie designs with just twenty cutters!

Today, I want to take a look at my one of my favorite items, the new Shape Shifter Set, a boxed cookie cutter kit that allows you to create forty unique cookie designs with just twenty cutters!We’ll talk a little about what’s inside, the thought process behind it, and how it will help simplify the cookie decorating process for beginner and experienced decorators alike.
If you know much about me, the idea of just twenty cutters might sound shocking. I mean, I probably own thousands! But as time went by, I noticed that I kept coming back to the same cutters over and over again. That made me think, “Wouldn’t it be nice if there were a set of updated, multi-functional cutters that came as a set?”
So, that’s what we did.
Cutters are just the beginning.
In my experience, a blank cookie can be intimidating, and the equipment required to create uniform cookies can be bulky and expensive. The Shape Shifter set has all the tools necessary to create professional looking cookies at home.
Besides cutters, this includes plastic decorating templates and recipe and instruction cards.
The plastic templates, created from a method I often use on the blog, are designed to help you “map out” the cookie design before piping, so you have lines to follow while working.
There are also recipe cards with my tried and true cookie and icing recipes,
instructions for using the templates,
and a summary of some of the best, most helpful tips on my blog.
And if you need instructions in Spanish or French, no problem! We’ve got that covered too!
If you think it couldn’t possibly get any easier, we’ve also got illustrated step-by-step instructions for each of the forty designs included in the kit.
Also included in the set are my new “edgers,” single-edged cutting tools designed to trim other cutters to create completely unique designs. If you look closely, the polar bear was created using a plaque cutter, and the owl a trimmed tulip. Neat, right?
Another feature that makes this product unique (not to mention easier to use) is color-coded instruction cards. Instructions for decorating cookies made from red cutters can be found under the red tabs, yellow under the yellow, and so on…
Gone are the days of digging through a pile of cutters looking for that certain one, now you’ve got something to make things a little easier.
As an added value, each of my specialty cutter sets (sold separately) come with two bonus templates that transform cutters from the Shape Shifter set into coordinating cookies.

Cookies are my favorite. Each day you share new line of cookie decorating products. I really liked it very much. how do you get such creative ideas. please share the secret behind it.
I love your set…but I have a teensy little quirk if you will…., and please do not take this as a criticism…but there is a tiny flaw….at least for me…when it comes to the plastic templates that are included in your wonderful set…I found some of them very hard to punch out. If you do not have long fingernails or something to help punch them out…they can be difficult. especially those with quite a few small circles. Maybe it was only my set? Maybe the manufacturer’s cutting blade was dull? I do not know…other than that…thank you for coming up with this concept! Some of your items are still not available…either sold out quickly or coming soon…I want to get the entire set! Have a good one!

I ordered the shape shifters cookie cutters from HSN. I love them! I can’t wait to use them. The only thing is the recipe box that came with the set was dented. (It was not packaged very well for shipping.) My daughter lives in Provo and I’m wondering if she could go to your office to exchange the damaged box for an undamaged one. (She used to work in the same building.)

Please post updates on new products (or better yet have a products available list). I didn’t see that the scarecrow cutter pack was available only at Michael’s until they had sold out at my store. So far that I know of, you only have the shape shifter set, 7 specialty sets, and the exclusive Michael’s set. Are there more I don’t know about?
I thought you should know that there is a huge packaging error on your set of cutters. The girl is pictured as BLUE (same as the boy) when in fact she is RED! I noticed this as I was sorting all of the stencils out by color. This is only an error on the packaging. The template cards show her as red.
I want you to succeed, so I thought you should get a hold of the packaging person and fix this issue. It’s not a massive error, unless you’re a stickler like me.
On the sad side, I’ve checked 5 Michael’s in Oregon and can’t find the sunflower fall set. If anyone can buy an extra for me I would love you forever. Email me for my address (I’ll totally pay you for this) at [email protected]

A little bummed, I drove two hours to buy the shape shifter set with a great plan on how I was going to use the pencil cutter and it wasn’t in the box? Instead I got 2 of the girl cutter. Is there away I can get the pencil without making a 4 hour trip back to Michaels??

Hello! I just got this package. First thing I noticed, on the two separate brochures the recipes are wrong, I mean it is written 1c butter is equivalent of 454gr, when 1c of butter is 2 sticks or 227gr. I don’t know who made the conversions here but they are all wrong 1 1/2 c sugar is 300gr NOT 192r as stated on the thing. I guess it is because in the US you are not familiar with the metric system but still, if you are not a professional baker or have a bit of a knowledge about conversions, and you follow the instructions in french or spanish, I guess you won’t achieve a very good result following the recipe. I hope this helps someone and maybe you will make the corrections on your future printings. Happy Baking!
