Oh wow what an awesome prize! My husband bought me a beautiful watch with diamonds on the face so it sparkles when it hits the light.

The best gifts I’ve received are the ones my son made for us when he was in grade school.
I guess my engagement ring is the best gift I ever received! (34 years ago!)
My engagement ring for Christmas– aside from that we as a family received a Wii with all the bells and whistles as a Christmas gift once.
My kids are the best gifts I’ve ever been given. Straight from God. <3 <3 <3
A rescue puppy that has brought incredible joy to our lives!
Yippie
The best gift I’ve ever received was my Vitamix as a wedding gift!
The handmade ornaments my kids gave me when they were in school.
The best gift I have ever been given was a prototype doll my mother made. She made it during the summer and I asked for it almost everyday. I woke up Christmas morning in 1984 and unwrapped that beautiful doll.
When I was 16 my grandfather had a stroke and lost a lot, of well everything – speech, mobility, memory, ect. He used to be in the army, he almost got crushed by tar bails falling on him off of a train, everyone thought he was dead so no one helped him except one guy – he jumped in and saved my grandpa. My grandpa was a tough tough man.
My mom follows in his footsteps – she Is a hard worker and always has been, went to work at 5:30 am every morning and cleaned campers for canadream , she had been there for 15 years and never took a day off of work. I got a job there and worked with her for 5 years. I was saving up to move out of the Yukon and go to school to become a nurse so I had three jobs and went to school and saved like crazy!
When I turned 17 my grandpa was giving up, he got super sick. instead of crying my mom would work more and more and she felt guilty because she couldn’t be there to help my grandma (they live in sept lies Quebec) which I super costly to get to.
The best gift I ever gave was walking into work and finding my mom – handing her an envelope with a ticket to see my grandparents. (I also begged our boss to let us have time off and got our staff to cover us for two weeks)
I took my college money and gave my mom a wish she never thought would come true.
When I handed her the envelope, she opened it up and she laughed at me and said this must be a gag you know we can’t afford this and I can’t get time off… I handed her another envelope with $2000 in it for spending money and called my boss over to verify the time off. We were to leave the next day. My mom was so happy she was grinning from ear to ear and shaking her head in disbelief.
She deserved everything and I wish I could do more. My grandfather passed away a year after our trip and I am now 28.
The best gift I was ever given was the opportunity to go with my mom and see her with her parents for the last time <3
My daughter 🙂
My mom got me an apron last year. It was cheap and horrible but she is the only one that supported ally baking with a gift. Incredibly thoughtful!
My husband contacted my best friend (we’ve been friends for 27 years but haven’t lived in the same state for 19 years) to surprise me with the best birthday present ever: a surprise evening of just me and my friend. Don’t get me wrong, I love her kids (they’re my “nephews”), but on the rare occasion it’s just the two of us, it’s usually only for 45 minutes to an hour at a restaurant so we can eat before running off to do other things, and now that we live 19 hours apart with busy lives of kids, husbands, pets, and jobs, we rarely can find time to even talk, let alone get together with or without husbands/kids. I thought we were meeting up to go to dinner with my best friend and her husband, but really it was a surprise birthday evening in NYC with dinner and then a Broadway show I had told my husband I wanted to see, but only with her (and I doubted that would happen) because of memories from our childhood together. Considering that getting 15 minutes to talk on the phone is a luxury, 6 hours of just the two of us was the best present ever, not to mention the present of knowing my husband listened to what I said, even just in passing.
An iPod
The best gift I was ever given is my son. After loosing twins while I was 6 months pregnant and told I would probably never have another child we booked a holiday cruise to get away fro it all and start the New Year off on a positive note. In March of that year I went to my doctor with some issues and found out I was 3 months pregnant (a little souvenir from our trip). I spent 3 long months on bedrest but got him here safe and sound.
The best gift I ever received was when I was a little girl; I got an Cabbage Patch Doll. My mom stood in line at the store for a long time because she wanted me to have it for Christmas day. All she could get was a red head doll and I have dark brown hair. She wanted to get me one that looks like me, but I just loved it! Now, I have an red headed little child…still don’t look like me! lol It was a sign! I think back about my mom and that red headed Cabbage Patch doll when I talk about my son.
The best actual materialistic gift I’ve ever received is my 8 quart kitchenaid. Got it for Christmas from my husband but I used it yesterday. Couldn’t wait! I will hand down my old 5 quart model to one of my children.

My best friend had bought up a bunch when he heard about them being discontinued lol and he gave me a box for Christmas 🙂 I don’t even like twinkles all that much, I think it was just the fact that I COULDN’T have them that made me want them so badly 🙂

This would be awesome…. I do make cakes fir the Make A Wish Foundation and donate to the children and the cause. We plan the parties and everything. This would make an amazing addition to add to the design of their theme cakes.
Two healthy babies!
The best gift I’m hoping for is a airbrush this year (I KNOW I’ll get it lol) This would be even better!
When I was a brand new nurse, I received a phone call, on Christmas Eve, from a family member of an elderly man I had taken care of the summer before when I was a nurse aide. His daughter called to tell me he had passed away, but that I had left such an impression with him, and made his few hospital days better that he wanted me to have something. So, he had willed me $100. I could’ve cared less about the money, but that Christmas Eve phone call is one I will cherish forever!
Best gift ever was my husband bought me an air brush with all the attachments.

Hmm, best gift is a hard one… funniest/most touching gift story, though, was when I asked for a stoplight for Christmas when I was 2-3 and my mom searched high and low and ended up finding a Fisher Price one! Back before the internet was around, you *know* she went to a lot of work for that.
The best gift I ever got was a proposal of marriage from my now husband leading to 43 glorious years together and counting!
My kitchenaid mixer!
I would have to say my wonderful grandchildren.
The gift of LOVE! 🙂
My brother bought me a remote starter kit for my car one year when I was living up north. Sounds silly, but I used it almost every day for 5 years if it was chilly or super hot outside!
I have to say the Christmas I was 12. My dad worked extra hours to go out & buy my mom & us 3 kids an individual gift that he chose by himself. It was a beautiful lacey long dress that I just loved. It meant more that he picked it out on his own. He passed last year before Christmas so I treasure the memories.
A cookie decorating friend gave me gift basket full of cookie decorating supplies! I was hooked immediately and love giving cookies to family and friends… Now I am starting to get requests for wedding favors for 100+ people and am trying to figure out how to make that many at once.
