Christmas Cookie Book Giveaway!!!
As promised, a giveaway!!! It’s books like this that get me in the Christmas mood. As a matter of fact, it’s probably what started this whole cookie obsession. Every holiday season, I would find myself
drawn to all of the beautiful cookie covered magazines and books. I must own twenty of them, and I still can’t resist a new one. I found this one the other day while I was out on a little shopping venture. I was so impressed with the chocolate cut-out recipe inside, I decided one of my lucky readers might need one! This book will be hours of happy holiday fun for the family!
If you would like to win this book, there are three ways to enter. Entrants are eligible for all three options.
- First, you can leave a comment on this post telling me about your favorite Christmas cookie or Christmas cookie memory. Be sure to leave your email address so I can contact you.
- Second, head on over to Facebook and like the Sugarbelle’s fan page, then come back and tell me that you liked it, OR that you are already a fan, again, don’t forget to leave your email addy!
- The last way to enter is to Tweet about this giveaway…let me know and leave your email! =)
Each person is eligible for three entries. If you do not leave an email address, you will be automatically disqualified from winning. Last day to enter is Sunday. I will then choose a winner using Random.org. Good luck!
As for me, I am up to my neck in Christmas cookies and I LIKE it!!! So many cookies, so little time. This is my collection for today. Very traditional and fun. Keep coming back throughout the month. There will be many more giveaways, tutorials, some recipes and an exciting announcement =)

My family is Moravian and every Christmas we make Moravian Christmas Cakes. It's a family event from start to finsh. Making the dough takes 26 cups of flour! The dough rests for a couple of weeks and then when it's time to roll and bake the children get to stay home from school that day. They are rolled so thin that you can almost see through them. I've done this every year of my life and I'm now 34 with a child of my own. Talk about special cookie memories! We will make dough this weekend. I'm now doing cookies similar (but no where near as beautiful) as yours and enjoying every minute of it! I would love the cookie cookbook and put it to great use!
I neglected to mention, but Moravian Christmas Cakes are actually very very thin ginger cookies.

Ooo, a cookie book I don't have! And haven't even seen! Wow!!!!
My mom didn't really bake, so I don't have any great childhood cookie memories. But two years ago, we got an order from Target for 700 gingerbread cookies for their employees. My daughter worked with me on the entire order and learned how to make dough, bake cookies, and decorate. It was so much fun spending time with her, that it made the work worth it! 🙂 [email protected]
I liked your Facebook! (I'll have to hope my two chances pay off…I don't Twitter!) 🙂

I don't tweet :o( guess I only get 2 entries.
Being from a big Italian baking family, I don't know if I can pick just ONE Christmas cookie – but my favorite Christmas cookie memorie is that HUGE plate of Christmas cookies piled on top of the big Santa plate in the middle of my Nona's table! There were no less than 6 types of cookies on that plate at all times! YUM!

A Christmas tradition that my mom and I have is to make several different types of cookies (LOTS and LOTS of cookies)! We try to give each family member a tin full of cookies when they come over on Christmas (that's if we don't eat most of them straight out of the oven!!).

I love to make pounds and pounds of it! My favorite baking tradition however is sugar cookies. It is funny, before my sugar cookie craze, Christmas was the only time I would make sugar cookies because I used to think of it as such a production, now I just do it daily! My favorite Christmas cookies are gingerbread men. My mom always does a lot of holiday baking, and one year when we were kids she decorated all of the gingerbread men (and girls, lol) to look like all of the kids and family. She packaged them all up and hung them on the tree. On Christmas Eve we got to eat our cookies! I love the blog re-design, thank you so much for the chance!
