Happy Easter, Y’all!
It’s Easter, and besides being able to spend the day with my family {even if it means watching 300 and 10,000BC}. The best news is, that my cousin, who has been fighting for our freedom in Afghanistan for almost a year IS ON THE WAY HOME!!!
I didn’t make these cookies, but I think they’re the perfect way to say Happy Easter, Texas style!
The same talented lady, Margarita Fuentes, also made these cuties! I LOVE them!
?
Here are our Easter Cookies…
Oh yes, and the ones I attempted to make with only 20-second icing…I had to break down and make a bag of white for piping =)
and these, inspired by an Easter buniting I saw on a craft site =)
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead
1 Peter 1:3
We are saved because HE is risen!
Beautiful Easter message. What a blessing.
How did I Miss these, they are beautiful!
I love, love, love your work, your site, and your creativity. I started following you and have been inspired by your body of work and all the guest posts, too. Today, I was looking for some Easter cookie inspiration and came across these ideas and many others. What I loved the most, however, was the verse you added at the end: I Peter 1:3–What a powerful message! He is risen indeed! Amen! I will commit that verse to memory and meditate on it all month. Thank you!
I just knew you were a Christian. Thank you for being such a great witness.
Yes mam. Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior =)
omg he’s looking solooo cute in his suit! I’m gonna have to introduce our baby girl to your little man, they would be such a cute couple I’m sure! haha..-= FutureMamab4s last blog .. =-.
I couldn’t say which of your cookies are my favorite but if somebody put a gun to my head and said “What’s your favorite Callye cookie, punk!?”, I’d have to say those bunny heads with the writing and colorful outlines (last photo). So simple yet so eye catching and beautiful. Did you use the Kopycake for those? I’m guessing you used a food marker? Make them again please so I can see how you did it!
I’m obsessed with your cookies (and your site), just so you know. I just ordered a bunch of stuff from Karen’s and The Cookie Cutter Company. I’m proud to say that I’m going to start a new hobby because of you! I feel I’m a creative person and have always been into drawing and painting so I’ve decided cookies are the way to go. I have so much artwork that will never touch a wall so why not create cookie art and share with friends? My work friends are SO excited!
Thank you Callye, from the bottom of my heart.
(Sorry to post on such an old thread but I wanted to make sure you knew what cookies I was talking about!)
